The Boomers will celebrate Oktoberfest on Saturday, October 4^th, at Sportsmen’s Park beginning at 3:30 pm. Talented Boomer members, under the direction of event lead Freddie Delamain, will prepare a feast of traditional fare.

The dinner will start with freshly baked pretzels, grilled brats (or chicken or vegetarian sausage if ordered with purchase), braised red cabbage, sauerkraut, German potato salad, green salad, and regular potato salad. Iced tea, lemonade, and bottled water will be provided. Attendees may bring any other beverages desired.

To add to the day, there will be several light-hearted contests with cash prizes. $25 each will be awarded to the best female and male costumes. Plus, there will be a polka contest for the most entertaining dancers with an award of $50.
